Okay...so, the computer I typically use has been bugged with viruses for the past 3 months...(probably longer, but it just started getting out of hand) Pop-ups CONSTANTLY coming up, even with pop-up blockers on. Two "anti-viruses" that downloaded without me knowing (one I know is a fake, and the other I just know it downloaded without me knowing, 'cause it randomly popped up one day "Oh, your computer has 47 viruses on it. Please pay for the registration to remove these threats." So, I've been keeping it alive with system restores, but now that won't even work...I asked my teacher at school how to reformat the computer, and he told me the easiest way is to use the disk...sad thing is...the computer's disk drive hasn't worked for the past year (and it's a brand new one).

So...anybody know of an alternative way to reformat a Windows XP OS computer? I've looked it up on Google, but most of them say the disk is required...I'd like one without the use of a disk.
